Taruna is all about connecting to family and friends. Filled with symbolism, this charming Maori style hei tiki hugs the whale tail, Wera, to hold on to family love, playfulness and friendship. Tattooed on the tail is the Pikorua, or twist, showing the eternal bond and loyalty of people united. The stylized ferns on the shoulders and classic three fingers of the tiki represent the beginnings of life and hope. Taruna is 6 1/4” tall and holds a delicious 18oz. of your favorite beverage. It is being offered in 2 color choices: Pineapple Green, which is a beautiful variety of greens on the exterior with bright yellow lining the inside and Tapa Cloth Brown, with a blend of warm browns on the outside and golden browns on the inside.

Taruna is a limited edition of 50 with 3 artist proof, each personally hand crafted by artist Regina Hurley. The method of applying the glazes makes each piece unique.
